AFSUG Collaboration with SAP and UNICEF

AFSUG recently showcased the SAP and UNICEF Educate 2 Employ program at the SAP User Group Executive Network (SUGEN) meeting in Waldorff, Germany on the 10th of November 2023. This presentation to representatives from over 20 global user groups reflects a significant stride in AFSUG’s commitment to Skills Development.

The collaborative initiative between SAP and UNICEF has become a focal point for AFSUG, and we take pride in our integral role. AFSUG conducted a survey in October, identifying customers and partners interested in employing students and pinpointing key areas of need and timelines for upskilled students.

AFSUG aims to encourage our member companies to focus on potential and a candidate’s ability to contribute positively to the workplace, fostering a culture of inclusivity and equal opportunities.

35% of our member database participated in our survey to support this programme and we are positive that our members will be willing to employ individuals without formal qualifications and facilitate entry-level positions and training programs, fostering an environment where eager and motivated individuals can thrive.

In joining hands with SAP and UNICEF, we believe AFSUG give an opportunity for our members to benefit from the Educate 2 Employ programme. Together, let’s shape a brighter future, and we eagerly anticipate our members participation in this enriching journey.
