The Board of Directors of the African SAP User Group (AFSUG) announces that Rubens da Silva has resigned as Board Member of AFSUG with effect from 5 July 2021 due to developments in his professional career with the City of Johannesburg. He has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and that there is no matter relating to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the AFSUG User Group Community.

Rubens da Silva served as the Financial Director of the African SAP User Group and assisted and guided the company with financial and business inputs. Rubens da Silva established a close and extensive relationship with the AFSUG Board and management team during his tenure with AFSUG.

The AFSUG Board would like to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Rubens da Silva for his significant contributions and time served on the AFSUG Board. We wish Rubens every success in all his future endeavours.
