Become a Volunteer with AFSUG

Many of our Special Interest Groups are in regular contact with senior SAP Executives and we have at least one SAP representative on each of our SIGs, which makes the SIG’s a great forum for direct engagement and feedback.

Develop Your Skills and Grow Your Network

Becoming an AFSUG volunteer is an excellent way to enhance your personal skills. You’ll gain experience in organizing and facilitating events, selecting engaging topics for our members, and even speaking at our biennial SAPHILA conference. As a volunteer, you can practice and improve your public speaking and presentation abilities.

AFSUG Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are managed by dedicated volunteers in collaboration with our operational team. By becoming a champion, you can share your SAP journey, experiences, successes, and challenges with the wider SAP user community. You’ll have the chance to host SIG events and present at SAPHILA.

What is required?

Our SIG Steering Committee Meetings are held monthly for up to two hours (dial-in available). This platform allows you to build your personal network within the SAP user community, suggest topics, find presenters, and host SIG events. AFSUG and the SIG you join handle most logistics.
