We are thrilled to share the news that our community is growing. The African SAP User Group, has been a cornerstone for SAP enthusiasts across the continent, and the past year has been particularly exciting.

In the spirit of growth, we are delighted to welcome al new members to our community. Their diverse backgrounds and experiences contribute to the rich tapestry of knowledge that makes AFSUG truly special. We extend a warm welcome to each new member and look forward to the unique perspectives and insights they bring to our vibrant community.

Looking ahead to 2024, AFSUG is set to embark on an exciting journey, focusing on key industries that play a crucial role in shaping the African landscape. Our attention will be directed towards Healthcare, Retail, and the Public Sector. By honing in on these sectors, we aim to create a more targeted and impactful exchange of ideas, best practices, and innovations within our community.

AFSUG is proud to announce a series of Focused Events for 2024. These events will delve into critical themes such as Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Technologies, and Enterprise Architecture. These gatherings will serve as a platform for in-depth discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities that will propel our community into the future.

The Collaboration Forum, introduced in 2023, will continue to be a cornerstone of AFSUG’s activities in 2024. We have an exciting lineup of speakers planned, bringing forth valuable insights and expertise to our members. This forum remains a space for collaboration, where ideas flourish, and connections deepen.

In response to the evolving needs of our community, AFSUG is proud to announce the initiation of a Youth Special Interest Group (SIG). This SIG will provide a platform for young professionals to connect, learn, and grow within the SAP ecosystem. Additionally, we are thrilled to align with the Educate to Employ programme introduced by SAP in collaboration with UNICEF, aiming to bridge the gap between education and employment for the youth.

As we look back on our incredible journey, we are grateful for the unwavering support of our members, volunteers, and partners. AFSUG’s growth is a testament to the collective passion and dedication of this community. Together, we are shaping the future of SAP in Africa.
