Sr Cloud Solution Architect
Storm Gibson, a Senior Partner Solution Architect at Microsoft, specializes in Infrastructure for the Africa region. With a Professional Post-Graduate Qualification in Company Secretarial and Governance Practice, and holding the Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification, Storm brings a wealth of experience. Her career journey includes roles at Datashuttle, Pathways Outsourcing, UCS Solutions (later acquired by BCX), and ultimately as Senior Specialist Solutions Architect for complex deals. In her current role at Microsoft, she collaborates with partners in Central Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, ensuring smooth and successful migrations to Azure.
Esther Wambugu-Obado
Senior Cloud Solution Architect - SAP on Azure
Esther Wambugu-Obado, a technology thought leader, boasts over 15 years of experience. Currently, she serves as a Senior Cloud Architect for SAP on Azure at Microsoft, specializing in guiding customers through the deployment and innovation of SAP workloads on the Microsoft cloud. With a significant 9-year contribution at SAP, Esther played a crucial role in facilitating the adoption of SAP technologies. Her diverse industry expertise encompasses telecommunications, banking, and technology sectors, showcasing her excellence in consulting, software development, and leadership roles.
Ryan Baleson
Africa Global Industry ISV Senior Partner Development Manager MEA GPS
Ryan Baleson is a GISV Partner Development Manager at Microsoft, where he is leading the strategy for Global ISV’s partnerships in the Africa region. He has more than 10 years of experience at Microsoft, working with various types of partners, including System Integrator, App Developer, ISV and Global ISV. He is also a Champion within Microsoft for Sustainability and MS Teams app store application development, and has been involved in some of the most significant ISV customer deployments and initiatives across the top-tier Global ISV’s. He is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Bertie Spijkerman
SAP on Azure Specialist
Bertie is based in Johannesburg and has delivered multiple SAP implementation programs and migrations across Africa and Europe. Prior to joining Microsoft, he worked for Accenture and before that spent ten years working for SAP, initially as a Program Manager and ultimately Head of Delivery for Sub-Saharan Africa.
